Become a certified liberty specialist by completing our three session seminar at home at your convenience. It involves reading selected significant works and passing three short open book quizzes to ascertain your knowledge of the important points in these documents. There is no charge for this seminar.
Un Sitio Para Liborio is an outstanding internet educational site focusing on fundamental freedom principles relating to the Cuban situation. Our Cuban pages, our links elsewhere and the comments in our guestbook make this evident.
Un Sitio Para Liborio has set up this seminar as an effort to further the knowledge of liberty principles in Cubans and all peoples of the world as a strategy for a safer Cuba and a safer world.
Session I is an examination of the little gem of a book, The Law, a 75 page book originally published in 1850. This book explains the basic principles involved in determining the proper scope of government. Author Frederic Bastiat was a French economist, statesman and author during the French Revolution. As a Deputy to the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Bastiat was studying and explaining each socialist fallacy as it appeared.
Session II is an analysis of republics and democracies. Session II examines the brilliant essay Republics and Democracies by Robert Welch, who founded The John Birch Society in 1958. The principles he espoused in that essay are timeless. The American republic will endure only so long as those principles are sufficiently understood by each succeeding generation of Americans.
In this seminar we will get acquainted with both sides. The ten planks of the Communist Manifesto must be examined.
This is the advanced and final session. It involves examining the original U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Declaration of Independence. The Constitution of the United States is unique in several respects. Most notable of these is the fact that it assumes the preexistence of individual rights. Certain rights are absolute, and cannot be altered or abrogated by government. This is evidenced by certain phrases as "Congress shall make no law...", and "...shall not be infringed". Constitutions of all other nations contain provisions for modification and/or suspension of certain rights.
Register for the Seminar by e-mailing your name to the Webmaster at Un Sitio Para Liborio. The entire course must be completed within three months from the date of registration. Take the three quizzes one at a time and e-mail your answers to the Webmaster at Un Sitio Para Liborio as you complete them. You will receive your grades for each quiz by e-mail within a week of submitting it.
If your average grade for the entire course is 80 per cent or higher, Un Sitio Para Liborio will e-mail you your temporary private URL for your certificate of completion with your name on it certifying you as a Liberty Specialist. You can print it in your printer and it is suitable for framing. After you complete this seminar you will be more knowledgeable about the fundamentals of liberty than most other people you meet.
