Salted Eggs

i send you how to salt eggs:

here goes:
half-fill an earthen jar with fresh clean water, best boiled.
dissolve table salt/rock salt into jar till saturation.
lower fresh eggs (preferably duck eggs, why - don't know) into the salt water. the last eggs must be below water-level.
cover the jar, best air-tight (seen my granny poured wax to seal the lid).
leave jar in yr cellar, or a cool dry dark place undisturbed for long time, like 6 months (i think!).
