Chocolate Covered K-Bobs

Wash your large, fresh, ripe strawberries and remove the leaves and stems. Dry them well! Peel however many bananas you need and cut into chunks at least as large as the berries.

Make K-bobs with the fruit, alternate berries and banana pieces along the skewer

Melt milk chocolate (I use Hershey bars) in a double boiler just 'til done, do not overheat. (Overheating will require the addition of a bit of paraffin to make the chocolate harden again). Pour the chocolate into a shallow pan.

Quickly dip/roll the K-bob to coat the fruit with chocolate. Quickly place each on a buttered flat pan in the refrigerator. Chocolate will harden fast.

Alternate way is to drizzle the chocolate over the fruit.

Enjoy!!

JD Cooper

I use these K-bobs as a substitute for many things. For example, when I cook up my world famous "Cooper Burgers" for folks, I use the K-Bob as a substitute for french fries. You would not believe what a refreshing change of pace this is.
