1 C. self rising corn meal 2 eggs 1/2 C. oil 1 C. sour cream 1 8 oz. can cream style corn Beat eggs and mix with all of the above and bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees. I use an 9X9 in. pan.
Clark, I got this recipe from a southern friend in WV. I know REAL cornbread is fried in a heavy iron skillet, but this is pretty darned good. Hope you might consider it for the recipe page as it's so quick and simple for us lazy cooks!
