Directions to UT School of Music
The UT Music Recital Hall (MRH) is physically located on 2406 Robert Dedman Dr., Austin, Texas. They're on the corner of Robert Dedman and Dean Keeton.

The system here is unusual, nevertheless, very easy. In the hallways there will be postings of room assignments.
The building is in the Music/Recital Hall complex. The easiest way to find it is to park in the San Jacinto parking garage, go out to Trinity street, then walk past the first building immediately in front of you, following directions to Bates Recital Hall. You will see a set of stairs to the left. The building just beyond those stairs is the building we use.
The web site http://www.utexas.edu/maps has bars with headings across the top of the browser window. Look for the one labeled UT Maps, click on it, then click on Area 6 in order to see how the streets run, where the parking garage is in relation to the music buildings, recital halls, etc. The complex is now one of new buildings added onto old, new buildings near already existing, etc. It is rather simple once you have looked at the maps and gotten a feel for how things are situated.
I take IH 35 south and take the Dean Keaton exit. San Jacinto is the main garage and is south of DK. Park in the garage on the third level, then walk down to cross Trinity street. Once across trinity, follow the directions above regarding the layout of buildings.
