Participated in the defeat of the call for a Constitutional Convention by the Legislature of Louisiana. The Con Con proponents planned to rewrite the U.S. Constitution. The proposed New States Constitution would have cancelled the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution.
1980s
Office Manager in the campaign of Dick Randolph For Governor of Alaska.
Participated in the successful pro-nuclear initiative in Idaho. The initiative established the requirement of a referendum election to poll the voters, before the legislature would prohibit the building of nuclear plants for the generation of electricity.

Completed the course The Miracle of America by
The National Center For Constitutional Studies, which dealt with principles of freedom in the U.S. Constitution.
President of Eagle Forum and Coordinator of Idaho Stop ERA in Bear Lake County, Idaho. Participated in the Idaho rescission of the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Section 2 of the ERA would have transferred huge areas of power from the states to the federal government, dealing with women's rights, property rights, credit, domestic relations.
