About Dissidents and "Trust"

By Miguel Uría

Believed to be the best and most intimate friend of Lenin, Felix Dzerzhinsky was the founder of the CHECKA organization which later adopted the names GPU, OGPU and KGB. He was responsible for Lenin's personal security and was commander of the Bolchevik headquarters. He established concentration camps equivalent to the many prisons in Cuba today, and he created the butcher Troikas or tree member tribunals, the predecessors of the Che Guevara revolutionary tribunals at La Cabaña fortress in Cuba, plus established the ruthless "press gangs", a type of Cuban Rapid Response Brigade.

He created a system of "judicial process" which was so efficient that there were less than 24 hours from arrest to execution of the imprisoned counterrevolutionary. There were so many condemned to death that it was too slow to kill them with a pistol and rifle, and he decided to establish for a long time the exclusive use of a more efficient tool: the machine gun. A type of Cuban Villa Marista, the Petropavlovsk fortress was its center of operations or butchery. He organized a meticulous file/archive of the internal and international enemies of Bolchevism, a less sophisticated variety of the cumulative file system established in Cuba.

He is ascribed with pushing, executing and controlling 'THE TRUST', an idea of Artuzoff, chief of Check counterintelligence under his command, considered an essential factor which permitted the consolidation of Lenin's government, leading the enemies of the red revolution from inside and outside of Russia. It included exiles and governments which were opposed to a Bolchevik state. Its objective was to create a conspiracy of great magnitude and legitimate appearance to detect enemies and to control the movements of their internal members, many of them true patriots, besides also receiving funds from the members and sympathizers abroad.

The Check Foreign Affairs Department was in charge of discrediting or liquidating the most effective leaders who resided outside the Russian frontier. To illegally introduce its agents in both directions and attract opponents through the Trust enticing them to return to Russia in order to find out their contacts or liquidate them.

They dispatched agents who were trained in liquidations and assassinations in order to infiltrate, discredit and destroy counterrevolutionary movements and individuals.

It was also a means of disseminating misinformation. In short, this Trust was organized by the Soviets as a means to detect internal regime enemies who were attracted by the organization because they believed it to be a legitimate instrument of the opposition to the Leninist government. If it became necessary, as an alternative to escape and government racket, if the Bolchevik government became weakened, they would physically liquidate the attracted members already members of the Trust, leaving their own agents (who had been directing and in control the whole time) posing as apparent opponents .

Since its creation, the elite of Check agents was the head of the Trust operations. In case it became necessary due to circumstances to have cover during their retreat and to remain with a different hat but similar laws, faces and system. Castroism without Castro.

The participants were always aware of infiltration by the Check agents, but were never aware of the degree of penetration and much less that the organization was a plan and created by the enemy itself. The legitimate opposition came to trust, to consider the Trust as an essential part of any future serious attempt to defeat and overthrow Lenin's Bolchevik government. The British intelligence service always believed it was a creation of the Bolchevick government, but not completely, and they paid for this oversight by losing their best agent, Sidney Reilly, considred their most capable spy.

During the existence of the Trust, and until it was dissolved shortly after Stalin took power, large amounts of money and resources were received in Russia originating mainly from exiled sympathizers of the Trust and in lesser amount from some governments interested in toppling Leninism. The cover-up and skill of the organizers of the racket reached such a degree that not only did they fool foreign governments, but also those funds continued to flow until they decided to dissolve the Trust, and these funds were vital to the maintenance of the red agents, who were short of resources.

This is how they liquidated, fatally wounded the counterrevolution. This espionage and counterintelligence victory had the consequence of seven decades of evil empire. And in today's Russia, a large part of the leadership still prevails, hinders, controls and governs. Many of those in key positions were the old instructors of the best KGB special instruction schools and military personnel, who instructed many officers of the Cuban FAR including at least a leader of the Cuban Dissidents, Vladimiro Roca. These relationships (teacher/student) which traditionally create close ties, make it possible for the Communist Cuban government to have special privileges within the global espionage apparatus, in addition to ties with Russia itself.

Historical evidence shows that sometimes international Communism enemy forces have learned lessons from certain events even though Communists have been more consistent. One of these events happened when Colonel Castillo de Armas crossed the frontier and entered into Guatemala deposing Marxist President Jacobo Arbenz. Castillo de Armas had been a Colonel of the Guatemalan Army and this, the institution, had continued its existence after Arbenz had taken the presidency. Both were essential factors in the success of the invasion, overthrow of Arbenz and the Colonel having success in the coup d' etat.

In this instance the Communists lost power but they learned the lesson and decided the next time they took the reins the first thing to do is to destroy the preexisting armed forces.

On January 8, 1959, when the Castro brothers stole power in Cuba from other organizations representative of the democratic wishes of the people, they applied the lesson from Guatemala and they quickly replaced the army of the Republic as well as the Rebel one with a new and political one. We should remember how the Army of the Republic was tricked: the radio broadcasts of Rebel Radio from the Sierra Mountains continuously repeated: "soldier, the war is not against you." And the Rebel army was obviously expected to take power.

Early on, Osvaldo Sanchez Cabrera was the architect of the Communist control of the usurping government. Under the camouflage of second in command of the G-2 but in control of the national power strings, he liquidated/neutralized/ executed a large portion of the Rebel Army officers, and replaced them with native and Russian-Spaniard top party officials.

The the indoctrination center Frank Pais was created. It was housed in the State headquarters at Columbia/Liberty City. From early on, the indoctrination of the remaining members and the new recruits of the Revolutionary Armed Forces was started, thus completing the cycle of this key betrayal.

Going back. Whe Allende assumed the presidency in Chile, the Chilean Army, knowledgeable about the Cuban experience and the betrayal to the officers and members of both armies, also applied the lesson and would not allow themselves to be dismantled. They saved the Chilean people from unimaginable suffering.

And speaking of misinformation, of wrong understanding, let's also speak about the Constitutional Army of the Republic of Cuba, which we just referred to. This Army was formed at the turn of the century, they were heirs of the Cuban patriots at the end of the War of Independence from Spain, and organized when the Republic began. Fundamentally formed by men of military vocation and true Cuban patriots. They had a striking characteristic which I have observed first hand but have never found in writings, that they were family men and good workers and they contributed a lot to the development of the Republic. They were a young army in a new state which began to develop its own healthy traditions. Before characterizing the institution, few analyze the military world, the military rules, which due to their necessary disciplne, frequently create situations in which unscrupled or scrupled leaders take actions whose consequences, in both cases, have a positive or negative result which is attributed to the institution.

To convey the message let's take outstanding examples, among others of General Erneido Oliva and Cmmander Antonio Michal Yabor. They belonged to the Constitutional Army of the Republic of Cuba, not to the Batista Army. They were members of the Rebel Army, anti-Communists, who fought to restore democracy, not the Casto army. Oliva member of Brigade 2506, Cuban and anti-Communist brigade which attempted to restore democracy, not a NorthAmerican army or mercenary. And member of the United States Army, the institutional army of a nation that gave refuge and opportunity to Cubans. Both, Oliva and Michal tireless, as always, in the active fight against Communism and for democracy in Cuba.

We Cubans shoudl study the "Trust", figure out and take into account he similarities and differences with the Dissidence. Be alert with the results of this analysis. In the previous fight we used to say "the problem is to get rid of Batista, later we'll strighten things out." From a negative beginning which laid out the groundword we went on to a result: the continuation of a tyranny but now with revolutionary clothes.

This is why, due to great suffering and spilled blood we need to look through a microscope and without exceptions to study credentials. If this had been done in the decade of the 50s, by those who supported the social dissolution who had the massive communication means at their service to arrive at the tragic March 10, 1952 and later those who consolidated Batista on July 26, 1953 may have known the criminal background of those who made hsitory, including Fidel Castro.

We believe that the term "dissidence" should it originate in he MININT or not, the terminology itself has been taken and developed by the Cuban KGB. The definition of Dissidence does not convey direct opposition as it should be customarily directed against an enemy. It does not convey rebelliousness, radical and direct opposition to the to the essence of the term, to-wit, just "disagreement of opinions".

The essence of the Dissidence is determined by the recent statements of its leader Vladimiro Roca, son of the founder of the Cuban Communist Party, who is presently buried in the tomb of Antonio Maceo who wrote the Socialist Constitution of Cuba of 1976 and which we quote as follows:

Havana, July 15, 1998
PRESS RELEASE BY VLADIMIRO ROCA by Ana Luisa Lopez Baeza, Cuba Pres, Havana
Vladimiro Roca Antunez, president of the Socialdemocratic Party of Cuba, wrote a press release from Ariza prison in the Province of Cienfuegos, which was turned in to this agency by a relative. The text of his statement follows: "After one year in prison without legal order or explanation by officers of my legal situation I do not intend to challenge authorities nor to look for confrontation since y position is reconciliation, tolerance, forgiveness, reuniting all the Cubans and no violence. "We wish to point out our situation and ask for a public trial, with authorized foreign press and authorized diplomats being present if they so wish." A transparent and clean process so that the words of President Castro when he addressed His Holiness Juan Pablo II may be valid when he bid farewell, he said" "Cuba does not know fear, it despises lies, it listens with respect, it believes in its ideas, it unconditionally defends its principles and it has nothing to hide". " If these words were not the right chance, then I trust that the process be in proposed conditions or that we be given an adequate answer and solution." "Vladimiro Roca Antunez, prison of Ariza, Cienfuegos, Cuba

Obviously there are differences between the Trust and the Dissidence, but there are also similarities. The Cuban KGB mixes apples with pears, truths with lies in its perennial and effective plan of disinformation.

There is certain contradiction in calling independent journalism what is published overseas; because in absolute tyrannies there is no free or independent journalism. Besides the official, just the cladestine exists. And this does exist in Cuba, but it is not the so-called "independent". In an interview, Ernesto "Che" Guevara way at the beginning, stated that "it is necessary to eliminate all newspapers since it is not possible to execute a revolution with freedom of the press".

In general terms within the Cuban territory the work of the "independent" journalists is not read. One of the best known independent journalists states that "the great mass lives without information... and in what is known as "double standard", that is, one thinks one thing, says another or does not say anything bcause discovered opinions can bring difficulties at his employment center oro at the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) and the loss of mediocre tranquility of life to the common man."

In practice it is for foreign consumption and notable are the silence and lack of attack to the Fidel Castro figure. That same criticism of the reigning system, so well expressed by the writers, bring, surprisingly, benefits to the satanic system, since it is read by a foreignner who is not versed about the political reality of Cuba, it would be easy for him to wrongly conclude there is freedom of thought in Cuba. He would conclude that it is not possible for typical censure of tight tyrannies to exist or he would doubt its existence if what he has read harshly criticizing some characteriwstics of the system, is written by individuals who live in the territory and under the jurisdiction of the tyranny.

We don't know how many dissident organizations there are within Cuba. If there are one hundred, we may assume that each one has a limited number of members, since, they themselves admit that masses live without information. And if there is no valid information reaching the people....we will leave it to the imagination of the reader.

Obviously these organizations, these parties as some call them, are not parties nor mass organizations and of those the most well known have formally renounced violence and they are looking for new mechanism of establishing dialogue with Fidel Castro. According to our reading of the parties that we're referring to, I'm referring to, among others, Corriente Socialist Democratica Cubana/ Partido Solidaridad Democratico are repentant to have been in protest mood and they should have been in proposal mood. On top of having agreed between themselves to not leave the island phyusically, they will not provoke any more but they will try to start dialogue.

The Trust was clandestine, dissidence is not, but both are infiltrated. Except for the infiltrated Leninist agents and some of the leaders of other revolutionary movements displaced from power by the Bolcheviks, most of the members of the Trust were counterrevolutionaries and not necessarily Czarists.

Among the dissidents there are lots of defenders of the revolution who were purged by the Party. They were responsible for establishing Communism, consolidating it, and defending it, and even today, one of the leaders of the Dissidence who goes in and out of the island and travels throughout the world, Elizardo Sanchez, has stated that "we seek transition in which the present government and its leader Comandante Fidel Castro pay a major role heading the change process."

Marxist ideology and a desire to maintain the revolutionary "gains" is prevalent among the dissidents. An unexplainable thing, since even though we try to pin point the gains, we cannot find any positive ones.

Very dangerous. After everyting that has happened, it is not possible to shape the delicate mechanism of a democracy with those who, besides having actively participatd in consolidating the tyranny, profess the same political economic and social phylosophy which destroyed it, and by its own nature is diametrically opposed to the principles that shape the other one. It makes no sense. The result will not be democarcy. And that is what they are trying to sell. Without an obvious repentance, it's like a banking institution that launches a campaign directed to its identified gamer clients, who criticize some of the damaging vices associated with the game, without renouncing to the priciples of the game itself. Saving cannot take place through gaming. The probability of this working would be the same that the supporters of the Czar would have on reestablishing Czrism with the Trotzkys of that epoch.

Now then it would be slander to state that brave men on Cuban soil, and classified dissidents who risk their lives daily to regain liberty for the suffering Cuban people are part of a racket. True patriots as Karla Perez who in a display of courage and before the world during the Papal visit raised a sign that sowted: Down with the Castro Brothers! Anywhere in the world that is not disseting, it is frontal and indomitable rebelliousness. A patriot combatant, a rebel. She is one who uplifts the honor of the people. She doesn't disagree with the opinions of the regime, but she despises them. Karla Perez is not a dissident, and as a successful consequence of falling into the traps placed by the MININT and of those who know they're doing it, there are many Cubans who in the information forms put an "x" in the wrong box. Dissident where it should be rebel.

Due to the function of the infiltrated secirity officers, those who feel Castroism in their marrow, those whose minds changed the name of the ship in which they were recently traveling to that of the Titanic, those of good faith but victims of blackmail which is intense official practice at Minint, those of good faith but professionally fooled, those who are repentant who only God knows, those who are purged but still opportunists, those classifieds as dissidents but really rebels and those who lend themselves voluntariy othe inconveniences of temporary prisons in exchange for being able in the future to dress as heroes in a plan to cover the rtetreat of a rcket government, in the previously mentioned mixing of pears with apples of truths and lies of the Minint's disinformation and due to the serious risk involved in an enthusiasm which could culminate in Marxism officially financed with dollars, and finally, after so much bloodshed which cannot be recovered, it is necessary, besides being prudent, to keep an active radar regarding the dissidents.

After forty years of Luciferian evil, it is irresponsible and imprudent to festively accept immediately and withou microscopy the document/event la Partia es de Todos. Let's go slower.

Written by individuals who are tied to and seriously identified with the (Cuban) government, active participants and for a long time, there isn't anywhere in that document a personal and direct rejection of the Communist phylosophy. Let's go even slower. There are some others that we don't understand. One of them is that there is some criticism of some precept in it, but we can't detect rejection or attack of the the Communist Constitution of the Evil Party in toto. The intent is to only modify it.

The reference to the Cuban Constitution of 1940, is the classic Marxist system, same as applied by Batista and Castro, amending it as needed by the dictatorial intentions. With this the four signers by omitting attack are in principle accepting the fundamental Communist structure of 1976, which in itself in a document of the type of la Patria es de Todos, is equivalent to supporting it and showing a certain disposition of the signers to live under structural/fundamental Communist legislation. There isn't vomiting. There isn't repentance. But there is more.

On reading the document at each step we were expecting to soon in the next paragraph read the words that we thought were essential to the subject: private property, but they were conspicuously missing. But not the historical Pope Leon XIII on "Rerum Novarum": "be it considered a doctrine or a historical deed or a movement, Socialism, if it is maintained as true Socialism, even when we make concesion to truth and justice about the mentioned points, cannot be reconciled with the teachings of the Catholic Church because its concept of society is absolutely foreign to the Christian truth."

After pointing out these elements, the same document contradicts its other parts which sound like democracy, making these latter ones suspicious in their intention. Or at least analyze them slowly. And for those who read "History will Absolve me" when it first appeared, this is not to mistrust, this is their duty and obligation.

None of this surprises us, but the festive and immediate reception that "La Patria es de Todos" had in various circles of the Cuban people/exile does surprise us, it being a document which has not been read by the Cuban people/island.

Besides, the fatherland is not everybody's. La Patria - as our apostle stated - "is not anybody's: and if it is anybody's, it must be and is only in spirit his who serves it with greatest selflessness and intelligence".

And he also stated: Mischief against me, OK: but not against my fatherland"
